World’s sexiest woman’, Katrina Kaif has been signed to play the role opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Prakash Jha ’s forthcoming political thriller Rajniti. 
Katrina Kaif is the girl-of-the-moment! The Britain-born actress has definitely made her entrance onto the Bollywood A-list with her 5 hit films in row. Now she’s all set to be seen with Ranbir Kapoor in Prakash Jha's political thriller Rajneeti. Katrina will be starring opposite Ranbir, as his love interest. According to the director they look great together. Katrina was first signed with Ranbir in Bachna Ae Haseeno but that didn’t work out. However after that the duo signed Rajkumar Santoshi's Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani and now they are together in Rajneeti. 

Jha’s film, for both of them, will be a very different and new experience. Jha (GangaaJal, Apaharan) said that Katrina's role wouldn't have a typical bharti-nari-role but that she would have very a powerful character in the plot. Adding that Katrina would have to pull all of her acting skill together for this role because it’s a very demanding role. 

Rajneeti’s cast has gone through a lot of flips and turns. For instance originally Vivek Oberoi was to play one of the leads, but he had to say no, so Arjun Rampal has replaced him. The other actors of the film are Ajay Devgan and Manoj Bajpai.

Salman recently invited Ranbir Kapoor and his girlfriend Deepika Padukone to the sets of his TV show, "10 Ka Dum". 

Sallu had got close to Ranbir during the shooting of "Saawariya" and has been like a guru to him. 

Ranbir and Deepika came on the show to promote their film "Bachna Ae Hasseno". Interestingly, they shot the episode at RK Studios, which is like home to Ranbir!

After the show wrapped up, Salman went up to Ranbir, hugged him and presented him with a portrait of Raj Kapoor, which he had painted himself. 

Ranbir was so touched that he had tears in his eyes. 

Salman has also made a portrait of Aamir Khan and is planning to auction it. The proceeds will go to his charity Being Human. 

Meanwhile, Sallu has shown the painting to Aamir.
