Four-film-old Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly signed his latest film, to be directed by Imtiaz Ali, for a fee of Rs. 12 crore.

The film will be produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision.

Ranbir is on a high following his two back-to-back hits, “Wake Up Sid” and “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani”, and is being wooed by several top filmmakers.

The actor started off by making Rs. 50 lakh for “Saawariya”. “Wake Up Sid” and “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani” reportedly fetched him Rs. 8 crore each.

This latest figure of Rs. 12 crore puts him in Bollywood’s top league.

No wonder this amount has encouraged him to refuse films with even the likes of Mani Ratnam. Does it mean less work and more money for the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ in India?
