There are news flying around that since the two that is Imtiaz Ali and Ranbir had been negotiating on working together since quite sometime, it was only this script of ‘Rockstar’ that Ranbir found interesting enough to work on, thus it was finalized. What is interesting is that Saif Ali Khan who is anyway a Rockstar with his guitar strumming and all that was very much interested in doing the film, hence he was practicing for the part since 2008. Even Shahid had an eye on that one and was on the verge of learning to strum the guitar for the role.

Yet, as they say one never knows when the winds might change their course and the lucky star starts favoring one, so as luck would have it there was Ranbir Kapoor who was the lucky guy to have a plum role in his lap. According to insiders he is soon to start learning the guitar and thus get into the role. We are sure that he would do justice to the role as being fit as a fiddle he is going to rock the nation as a ‘Rockstar’ and hopefully make this year very lucky for the whole team!

The story is stated to be inspired from the lives of B-town rock stars. John Abraham and Saif Ali Khan were initially chosen for the role but later Ranbir was opted for the role. 

 “Imtiaz and Ranbir met many times in the past few months and discussed several projects. But it was ‘Rock Star’ that Ranbir liked the best,” as disclosed by the source.

Ranbir has given his best and worked a lot on the role as the source added, “Ranbir will go all out to prepare for his part as a rock star. He wants to look every inch the part. That includes the sinewy muscled physique and expertise with the guitar strings.”

He has started joining guitar classes for one song sequence ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ in ‘Rock Star.’ Hats off to his effort; expect the best outcome of this Jodi in ‘Rock Star’!
