Ranbir Kapoor's Birthday

Mumbai, Sept 28 (TruthDive): Actor Ranbir Kapoor has decided to begin the year on a good note and that is by working throughout the day, which turns 29 today.

“I’m not a birthday person as I don’t like to build expectations around one day. You never know how it’d turn out to be. In addition, I hate disappointments. For me, the greatest happiness is to share my birthday evening with my family,” says Ranbir.

Ranbir, who is very close to his mother, former actor Neetu Kapoor, spends the day with her on most of his birthdays. 

Rishi and Neetu Kapoor wanted to celebrate their son’s success in the industry with a bash, and an extensive guest list had been drawn up. However, Ranbir requested them to call it off.
 

“Right now, he is very nervous about Rockstar,” his manager revealed. “He has given his 100 per cent to the film, and he wants a true celebration to happen only once it is a success.”

Therefore, Rishi and Neetu decided to have a smaller celebration instead. “They’re having a quiet dinner for family and friends. The only celebrity guest will be Imtiaz Ali,” Ranbir’s manager said.

The young actor, who has been linked to many of his co-stars in the past year, has decided to put all that behind him and concentrate on his films at hand. What better way to begin than on one’s birthday. Ranbir is going to be on the sets all day long shooting for Anurag Basu’s Barfee in Andheri with actor Priyanka Chopra
 

“Born on 28th September 1982, Ranbir is a Number 1 person in numerology ruled by Number 1 (Sun), Numbers 6 and 8 (ruler Venus and Saturn – Libra) and Number 3 (Jupiter – sum total of his date of birth which is known as the ‘destiny number’),” explains Bhavikk.

“Being a Number 1, Ranbir wants to be an ‘ace’ in whatever he does since he ruled by the most powerful star – the Sun. But being partly ruled by ‘shani’ (Number 8 – Saturn), the planet associated with hardships, struggle, delayed success etc., his first two films (Saawariya – flop and Bachna Ae Haseeno – average) did not create the expected ripples at the box office, although Ranbir did make a strong impression and left a mark. But all thanks to a well placed Jupiter (Number 3), ‘success’ could not elude him for a very long time and the industry woke up to him with 'Wake Up Sid', and he has not looked back after that.”
